Day 1:Arrival Cairo - Welcome to land of the Pharaoh’s

Welcome to Cairo, Start your Egypt Travel Package. Upon landing at Cairo International Airport, a member of our team will greet you and help you navigate the entry formalities swiftly. After clearing the procedures, you’ll find your tour guide waiting outside the airport. They will escort you in a private air-conditioned vehicle to your Cairo hotel, ensuring a seamless check-in process and a chance to unwind.

At the hotel, the tour manager will assist with a smooth check-in and review your holiday itinerary with you to establish and confirm pick-up times for each tour.

Day 2: Tour to Pyramids & the Egyptian Museum and Cairo Sightseeing

Breakfast at your hotel in Cairo and then met by your personal guide who will accompany you to Giza Plateau to visit one of the seven wonders of the ancient world:

Giza Pyramids Complex

The Giza Pyramids Complex, is home to three of the most famous pyramids: the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the Pyramid of Khafre, and the Pyramid of Menkaure. Built between 2580 and 2500 BCE, these pyramids were constructed as tombs for the pharaohs and are renowned for their massive scale and precision. The complex also includes the Great Sphinx, a colossal statue with the body of a lion and the head of a pharaoh.

The Great Pyramid

The Great Pyramid, also known as the Pyramid of Khufu or Cheops, is the largest of the three pyramids in the Giza Pyramids Complex. Built around 2580-2560 BCE, it originally stood at 481 feet tall and was the tallest man-made structure for over 3,800 years. Constructed with millions of limestone blocks.

The Sphinx of Chephren

The Sphinx of Chephren, also known as the Great Sphinx of Giza, is a massive limestone statue located near the Giza Pyramids. Carved during the reign of Pharaoh Khafre (Chephren) around 2500 BCE, it features the body of a lion and the head of a pharaoh, believed to represent Khafre himself. The statue measures about 240 feet long and 66 feet high.

The Valley Temple

The Valley Temple, situated near the Great Sphinx and the pyramids at Giza, is an ancient Egyptian structure dating back to around 2500 BCE. The Hanging Church

The Hanging Church, also known as Saint Virgin Mary's Coptic Orthodox Church, is one of Cairo's oldest churches, dating back to the 3rd century. It is situated in the Coptic Christian district of Old Cairo, built above the ruins of an ancient Roman fortress. The church is renowned for its unique location, giving it the appearance of "hanging" above the ground, and its stunning architectural features, including intricate woodwork and ancient icons.

Ben Ezra Synagogue

The Ben Ezra Synagogue, located in Old Cairo, is one of the oldest and most historically significant synagogues in Egypt. Originally built in the 9th century, it was converted from an ancient church. The Temple of Hatshepsut, in Deir el-Bahari, Built in the 15th century BCE for Pharaoh Hatshepsut, it is a stunning example of ancient Egyptian architecture. Colossi of Memnon

The Colossi of Memnon are two massive stone statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III, Each statue stands about 60 feet tall and originally guarded the entrance to Amenhotep III's mortuary temple, which is now mostly destroyed. These statues have stood for over 3,400 years and are renowned for their impressive size and craftsmanship.

The Edfu Temple, is one of the best-preserved ancient temples in the country. Dedicated to the falcon god Horus, it was constructed during the Ptolemaic period between 237 and 57 BCE. The temple features impressive reliefs, statues, and inscriptions that detail ancient religious rituals and mythology. 

Kom Ombo Temple

The Kom Ombo Temple, is unique for its dual dedication to two gods: Sobek, the crocodile god, and Horus, the falcon god. The High Dam

The High Dam in Aswan, is a remarkable engineering accomplishment completed in 1970. Spanning the Nile River, it was constructed to control flooding, generate hydroelectric power, and provide water for irrigation. The dam's construction led to the creation of Lake Nasser, one of the world's largest artificial lakes.

The Unfinished Obelisk

The Unfinished Obelisk, is an ancient granite obelisk that was abandoned during its construction. It dates back to the 18th Dynasty and would have been the largest obelisk ever erected, measuring about 137 feet in length. The project was halted due to cracks that appeared in the stone.

Philae Temple

The Philae Temple, is a stunning ancient temple complex dedicated to the goddess Isis. Originally constructed during the Ptolemaic period (4th century BCE to 1st century CE), the temple is renowned for its beautiful architecture and intricate hieroglyphs. To protect it from the rising waters of Lake Nasser, the entire complex was relocated to its current location on Agilkia Island. The temple is known for its stunning architecture and its role in the worship of Isis.
